Dear Diary

I’ve been thinking a lot about what I want my business to be, and by extension, what I want my blog to be. I want it to be authentic, and interesting, and I want my content to come from me, not just link back to other people’s work/blogs.  ‘Experts’ say that you should always post quality content consistently, but what if there are days when I don’t have anything to say?

That’s kind of what’s happened for the past couple of weeks. And I decided that part of being authentic is not just writing when I have nothing to say. So if I’m in and out for the next month, that’s why, but I’m hoping that having the freedom to only blog when I want to, not when I feel like I have to, will mean that I’ll want to a lot more. Because that’s usually what happens.

Good for you! Never feel like you have to blog – it should be something you do because you feel inspired or you want to do it.
