I am queen of the snacks. I love them. If I could, I would go about my day just eating little snacks every couple of hours (who am I kidding, probably every hour on the hour). In fact, my favorite meal of the year is New Year’s Eve dinner, when my mom and my aunt make hors d’oeuvres and dips (oh my god the dips, sometimes my aunt makes this one called crack dip and it is THE BEST). Anyway, the point is, sometimes I find myself needing a little snack quickly, and since I’ll be in the middle of something, I won’t want to spend a lot of time preparing it.
This snack takes a tiny bit of prep work but it’s so worth it The garlic just really takes it to the next level. Here’s what you do:
Roast as many garlic cloves as you want, in the skin, in the oven at 350 until they’re squishy (about 45 minutes). Peel them and stick them in the fridge until you’re ready for a snack. When you’re ready for something amazing, put some of the roasted garlic on top of your cheese and crackers, enjoy.
