Hello, loved ones. I have an exciting announcement to make today. I reopened my Etsy shop.
I was doing a lot of cleaning and organizing, and I realized that I tend to have a lot of leftover craft gear. Things like extra fabric, extra yarn, extra cards from my card selling days… And I often don’t do a whole lot with it. So, in true me fashion, I decided to start a project.
I’m going to use all of my leftover stuff to make cool things and sell them on Etsy. This is going to be great BECAUSE:
1. My customers will get one of a kind handmade items.
2. I won’t feel bad for wasting supplies, and I’ll be able to fund my craft habit.
3. It will be fun for you, because if you see something you like on this blog, you might be able to buy it!
I’m really excited about this, and not just because I feel like talking about this has turned me into some advertising monster, who is way too enthusiastic about her product. I like the idea of not wasting my materials, and I like the idea of being able to try new projects that I might not have a use for, and being able to not only pass it along to someone who will have a use for it, but also (let’s be real) profit from that. I’m going to be making things either way, so I could either hoard them all, and die alone in a room filled with my handmade belongings, or I could sell them, and hopefully they’ll find their way to people who would appreciate them too. Those are the only two options.
Anyway, I tend to be pretty all or nothing, and I realized that everything doesn’t have to be such a big deal, and it would be cool to try this out. I went ahead and listed some holiday cards I had made, and a few other goodies, so check it out, and be sure to check back soon for some knitted/fabric stuff.
